Remove from the game effecten zoals Path to Exile eveneens. What the hell - did I - do to deserve - all of this?
Spike attacks Johnny with his 7/7 Excruciator. Johnny blocks with his Darksteel Gargoyle, a 3/3 Indestructible flier. Neither creature is destroyed as a result of combat. After combat, Spike plays Dark Banishing on Johnny's Gargoyle. The Gargoyle is unaffected by the destroy spell. Spike next plays Last Gasp on Johnny's Darksteel Gargoyle. The creature is affected by non-destroy state-based effects, and thus receives a -3/-3, putting its toughness at or below zero, and therefore killing it. Johnny puts it in his graveyard.
Dit werkt bijv.

Hoop dat dat je helpt ^^Simplified
A permanent that is Indestructible cannot be destroyed, and cannot be killed as a result of lethal damage. Similarly an Indestructible Artifact, Land or Enchantment is immune to destroy effects.
In Depth
If a permanent is indestructible, rules and effects can’t destroy it. Such permanents are not destroyed by lethal damage, and they ignore the lethal-damage state-based effect (see rule 420.5c). Rules or effects may cause an indestructible permanent to be sacrificed, put into a graveyard, or removed from the game.
420.5c A creature with lethal damage, but greater than 0 toughness, is destroyed. Lethal damage is an amount of damage greater than or equal to a creature’s toughness. Regeneration can replace this event.
They aren't, however, immune to non-lethal-damage state-based effects.
420.5b A creature with toughness 0 or less is put into its owner’s graveyard. Regeneration can’t replace this event.
